Drippy Coffee Cup!

Okay, I like to get the most for my money but this is a little to far. Have you ever got a cup of coffee that was overfilled? Well, I have and it was a real mess!

It was a late Saturday afternoon when I decide to get a cup of coffee from my local DD. I drove up to the drive thru, got the usually response of "I'll be right with you" when I went to place my order. Of course when they were ready I had to repeat my order a couple of times which is typical because they don't write the order down.

I pulled up to the window to be greated by a nice kid who asked me if I ordered a medium coffee. I affirmed that I did and paid for the coffee. The kid handed me the coffee but the lid wasn't on very tight so the coffee was spilling all over the cup. As you might already know, if the lid isn't on tight, the coffee has the tendency to spill out of the cup! I looked at the kid with a "What the $#@$" look so he astutely realized he had to do something. He grabbed a few napkins and wiped the cup but the coffee was spewing out now faster now since he was shaking the cup as he wiped it.

To this day, I don't truly know why I took the cup from him with the soaked napkins stuck to the styrafoam cup. It was a drippy, stickly mess! Although I appreciate getting more coffee for my money, I don't appreciate an overfilled one that causes a mess.
